Dance and Drama

Our Dance and Drama lessons provide children with exciting opportunities to explore different roles and act them out. With support from our specialist drama teacher, pupils are encouraged to break through the walls of reality, pretend to be someone or something, and dramatise situations and actions to accompany the roles they have chosen.

Music

Life without music is hard to imagine. Music is magical and has a power that will never be truly understood. At Reddam ELS we give children the opportunity to engage with and create music together and individually with guidance from our specialist music teacher. Children love to sing and play instruments, and so the learning of music proceeds naturally at this age. Music gives children a sense of belonging and security in knowing who they are, which is why it is prioritised across all our Early Learning Schools.

Physical Education

Our aim in Physical Education is to ensure that our pupils are physically ready for learning. Balance, posture and coordination are essential for children to be able to sit still and pay attention at this age. Our specialist teachers work tirelessly to help little ones become fit for learning. By providing our pupils with a positive physical experience, we not only enhance skills development but also promote friendship, offer an outlet for emotions and energy, foster teamwork and leadership, and encourage each child to take responsibility for their health and well-being.
