INSPIRED operates numerous affiliated schools globally via its regional offices in United Kingdom, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.

1. Introduction
The terms of this policy are based on the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles ("APPs"), which recognises the right to information among other questions. Consequently, Reddam House provides information about how we process the personal information that you provide to us. Other applicable regulations on privacy questions are also considered.

2. Types of Personal Data We Process
We process personal information from our students and their families or their legal representatives and also from our employees, candidates, suppliers, contractors, prospective customers and third parties that are legally authorized to act on their behalf.
The personal information processed are mainly the following:

  • Names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and other emergency and medical contact details;
  • Nationality and location;
  • Family details;
  • Safeguarding information (such as court orders and professional involvement);

3. How We Collect and Process Personal Data
Reddam collects information directly from the individuals or legal authorised parties acting on their behalf in several ways, including:

  • Over the phone;
  • Through our website;
  • Through cookies used on our website we can collect login data, browsing behaviour, settings and actions in web applications;
  • From email and hand delivery paper documentation, including job applications, emails, invoices, letters, consent forms;
  • Through online tools: such as apps, educational platforms and other software used by our schools;
  • Through any CCTV cameras located at our premises or sites;

4. Lawful Basis for Processing Your Information
We process your information on the basis of the consent provided by you, as well as for the performance of a contract and to comply with the legal obligations that may derive from it. We may also process your information on the basis of a legitimate interest of Reddam Schools when sending commercial communications about our activities. In the event that, when necessary for the execution of the educational contract (which could include the use of computer tools and platforms offered from outside Australia), personal data may need to be transferred to countries that may offer a lower level of data protection, we will implement the necessary measures to ensure adequate protection of your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Likewise, parents / legal guardian or the student over legal age will be clearly and correctly informed. We will also collect the corresponding consent for such transfers to non-adequate countries when required by the specific exemptions stipulated in the regulations. 
Your personal data shall be neither rented nor sold to third parties under any concept.

8. Conservation of Data
Personal information will only be retained for the period of time required to fulfil the legal or business purposes for which it was collected. Once the period has expired, the information will be destroyed or made anonymous.

9. Your Rights
You have rights regarding the processing of your personal information. These rights are, however, subject to certain exemptions and limitations. You have the right to:

  • Be informed, at the time when your information is collected, about the processing of such information;
  • Access the information we process about you, including your health information, except where the law allows the School to refuse your request. You don’t have a right under Australian privacy law to access other kinds of information, such as commercial information;
  • Request the correction, when the information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant and misleading;
  • You also have the right to request the destruction or deletion of your personal information and
  • Object to the processing of your personal information on reasonable grounds relating to your particular situation including for purposes of direct marketing by means of unsolicited electronic communications;
  • Not to be subject, under certain circumstances, to a decision which is based solely on the basis of the automated processing of your personal information intended to provide a profile about you that may cause effects for you without your intervention;

10. Consent
You will have the right to withdraw your consent for any specific purpose granted at any given time without prejudice of the legality of processing according to the consent given before withdrawal. 

11. Storing and securing information
Reddam shall use the appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security, confidentiality, integrity and privacy of the personal data; preventing unauthorized access or unlawful processing, as well as accidental loss, destruction or damage of the files.

12. REP AI
With the aim of attending to your general queries, our website provides the option to use the chatbot. Initially, this application does not require your identification or any other personal information about you. You can address your specific question by typing it or using your microphone, in this case you must provide access to it and the chatbot will process and record your voice as personal data. 

You can also disclose voluntarily any information about you when asking a query (e.g., your name, location, or age). In this case, the information recorded will be processed and retained by Rep AI for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose and according to the applicable local regulations.

13. Cookies Used in Our Website
We use cookies to provide you with better experience in the use of our website, as well as to store information about our visitors. This information is related to your session ID and is a way of monitoring single user access. 15. Minors
Reddam will not collect and / or process information from individuals under legal age. Consent from parents or legal representatives will be always required.
